How Does the DTF Printer Work?

Let’s give you an overview of how the DTF printer works. Even though this is a modern and innovative machine, it’s very easy to use!

Essentially, DTF machines place ink on a special transfer film. You’ll take that film to the garment and apply it with a heat press. Here’s the entire process:

2. Print the design onto a PET film (also called “DTF Transfer Film”). It will transport the design onto the fabric.

4. Cure the ink with the DTF oven to get a vibrant print.
5. Position the film onto the fabric, and use the heat press to transfer the design.
6. Peel off the film from the fabric to reveal the result.
